Establishing an international partnership in the UAE advances Northwood University’s beliefs about upholding entrepreneurialism and the free enterprise society to even more students and nations. There’s much to learn and leverage in our global economy and together with Western International College and the RAKEZ Academic Zone, we are excited to introduce more students to the values and ideas of Northwood University. Students will experience the same level of quality education and value that we offer at our main campus in Midland, Michigan (USA) - particularly the experiential learning opportunities that our curricula bring to the educational landscape.

The United States has maintained friendly relations with the UAE for decades, and it is a safe place to travel and study, which makes it such an attractive higher education location.
The UAE is becoming a center for international education, and Northwood is the first American university to establish a presence in the RAKEZ Academic Zone. We are truly delighted with this partnership which expands our global footprint.

Message from the Chairman
As Chairman of the Knowledgucate Group of Institutions which own and operate a chain of educational institutions from Playschools to schools, colleges and Universities in India, UAE, and the United Kingdom, I am delighted to welcome Northwood University, International Program Center (IPC) - Ras Al Khaimah into the Knowledgucate family. Our vision is to make Northwood University, IPC - Ras Al Khaimah “the destination” for North American Education in the UAE - and across the Middle East. Northwood University, IPC - Ras Al Khaimah has been set up with the express purpose of providing quality learning opportunities without the logistical barriers of traveling to the US or Canada.
Students will have the opportunity to study and achieve their US degree program completely in the UAE and gain the same degree as awarded at the Northwood University, USA campus. Students can have full confidence that, as an approved IPC, the credits gained will be recognised should they wish to transfer to the US to complete their study or for further learning.
Northwood University see education as an investment which is a concept very much shared by Knowledgucate as a group. Knowledgucate position themselves with a social conscience. To bring high quality education opportunities to those who may otherwise be disadvantaged due to regional or financial barriers to learning. Furthermore, the ethos of a Northwood University education complements the entrepreneurial and free-thinking attributes widely sought from graduates stepping into a global platform. It is the belief of both institutions that education should be free from artificial barriers and our students are given the opportunity to exceed their potential in a well-rounded US education system.
